What Inspires me

OK so my deal is that when i first started uni I was interested in graphics and the graphic arts but for the love of everything I couldn't draw to save my life nor did I have the mental ability to think of something smashing or daring or interesting to capture the eye. I failed miserably at it all and then I moved into Comm Arts. I mean I like comm arts especially the advertising bit because I found that I can take someone else's ideas and make them so much the better. What annoys me though is that when I see my mates who I was in graphic arts with doing some fantastic things I feel as if i've missed out because I still fancy it all but I lack the creative juices in that area.

So what have I done about it? Absolutely nothing... until now. See lately I found myself scouring the interweb (yea i know its not a word bite me) and looking for works that just capture my imagination and capture me as well and i've looked at the works and i've finally said to myself that you know what you over sized moron, its time to get moving on in a direction. I've honestly been wondering around my life absent from myself not knowing where to go, so I would just go everywhere without aim or direction. However in 2009 and being this old already im going to make something of myself and make an impact in many ways.

Currently I am working on an ambitious project, a very ambitious project, to create 4 teams of 3 to travel the globe and gain an introspect of how people live, how their lives have been affected by the economic crisis the world is in, to see what the face of the new generation is going to be; amongst other goals I've set. I aim to create a global photo journal of the lives of the earth's inhabitants in my own way.

Hmm I think that's all my brain can muster up at present that or I just dont want to tell you anymore for now. However you can take a look at some of the works i've found to be rather enlightening and just down right amazing. This guy Justin Maller, is from down under (if you dont know what that means you lose, but just in case its Australia) and if you are interested in his work check him out he has some fantastic things on his site.
