Ray of light
Life falls down and falls apart without warning
your world comes to an end
everything you thought
everything you held dear to you your heart
in an instance is gone
When it seems as if there is nothing
nothing at all to bring you back
it happens;
A ray of light that, without cause or explanation
Just comes, gives you hope and carry you out of the darkness
Though it ma take a while to be free of the dark
Knowing that that ray of light is there
whether real or imaginary
distant or close
lover or friend
To know that that light is there
is all it will ever take to get you out of dark days
and darker nights
I say to you now
Looking into your eyes
Looking at that one in a million smile
that you are to me
My ray of light
